Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting located in Lebo, Kansas. This contract position will run for the current school year (CSY), with potential extension into the next school year (25/26) within the Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative. Candidates ideally hold a valid Kansas SLP license and have experience in school-based speech-language services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students in a school environment
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Kansas Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP School or SLP CCC credentials preferred)
- Experience working in school settings, especially with elementary-aged children
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in children
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
